Any student-athlete that is participating in a fall sport (football, cross country, volleyball, softball, or cheerleading) should have a physical on file in the athletic office and pay $49 for athletic insurance. Student-athletes cannot participate until both of these requirements are met and their eligibility has been verified.
What's New for 2013
We look forward to an exciting year this year in Callaway Athletics. Our Fall sports are already underway and competing in their first games of the season. This year Callaway High School is pleased to announce the addition of Swimming for both boys and girls. This new team will be coached by Angela Smith and her assistant Brock Morris. Also new to the coaching staff this year are Ronnie Sikes and Callaway graduate Jason Boatman in football, Tim Freeman in softball, Callaway graduate Bonnie Humphries in cheerleading. This winter will see a change in our wrestling program as Benjamin Bone takes over as head coach with Jason Boatman assisting. In the spring, we will have Matt Leonard taking over as Head Girls Soccer Coach with Angela Smith assisting, and in Tennis, Coach Kurt Napier will take over both the girls and boys teams. We look forward to great things out of all our sports this year.
Please pardon our progress.....
You may have noticed a few trees missing from the football practice field. This area was recently cleared to make way for the Multi-purpose facility that is scheduled to open in the spring.
